Victoria Adams is an articling student at Johnstone & Cowling LLP. Victoria obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with honours from the University of Sussex in 2021. During her legal studies, Victoria was a semi-finalist in the Junior Mooting competition and was selected for an internship with Brighton & Hove City Council where she worked across the Contracts & Procurements, Environmental, and City Planning & Services teams. In her final year, Victoria provided research and pro bono legal services at the University’s Family Law Clinic. Victoria was elected by her peers and professors for the Clinical Legal Education Award and was the recipient for 2020/21.

Victoria also holds an honours degree in criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University. During her time at Laurier, Victoria was elected to the Criminology Student Association as social media coordinator and photographer. Victoria also volunteered with Why Not Youth Centres and with a youth group at Brantford Public Library. When she was not studying or volunteering, Victoria enjoyed playing on the women’s flag football team.

Victoria has a particular interest in employment law, administrative law, internet regulations and privacy law, and access to justice issues. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys practising yoga, engaging with nature, and appreciating music and the arts. She attends Stratford Festival annually and regularly spectates London Knights hockey games.
